Working Bees

The Buildings and Grounds sub-committee is responsible for maintaining, improving and beautifying the school buildings and grounds within the framework of the school.  Three-four working bees are organised and all families from within the school are encouraged to attend these productive and social events.
Some of the projects BHPS has achieved:
  • Rejuvinating the school oval
  • Resurfacing the ashphalt at the back of the school
  • Preserving the original BHPS sign and relocating it to the front entrance
  • Beautifying the front entrance with new timber fencing
  • Renewing the gutters on the school buildings
  • Planning improvements for the Beaconsfield Road entrance to the school
  • New play platforms attached to the deck

New sub-committee members are always welcome to contribute.
