Curriculum

Our school’s maxim, ‘Head, Heart and Hands’, clearly reflects the varied, engaging approaches we take to teaching and learning.  Our innovative programs, which have a Steiner influence, enhance children's opportunities for authentic learning, ensure high quality curriculum delivery and support all students to be their best.

Our school offers a single stream of educational provision, and is continuously developing quality approaches which meet expected standards and reflect our focus on teaching and learning.  We work hard to create vibrant programs where our school values are valued and actively encouraged.
We focus on the purposeful teaching of literacy and numeracy skills within a Steiner-influenced curriculum model. As we are a state government primary school, our core classroom programs follow the guidelines of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD).

We offer the following specialist programs taken by trained specialist teachers that complement our core classroom programs, including Science, Gardening, Steiner Singing, German and P.E.

Our little school has grown to 198 students and their families, all of whom contribute to a wonderful, close knit community. The school also prides itself on being home to two base rooms from Diamond Valley Special Developmental School, and we embrace the richness and diversity this opportunity offers.
