Main Lesson

The Main Lesson is a two-hour uninterrupted period each morning in which a subject is taught intensively by the class teacher. During this block, the whole subject is explored, allowing children to learn deeply. A series of Main Lesson subjects are presented over the course of a year, which include writing, reading, maths, geography, history and sciences.
